Revalidation

Registrants will be required to revalidate each year in February, when they renew their membership of PTUK. This process will consist of making declarations and supplying evidence of clinical governance, as at present, plus more details of clinical supervision, CPD and other data for quality assurance and the publication of guidelines to improve practice.

An enhanced validation process came into effect from February 1st 2015 with data being required for revalidation in February 2016. PTUK has further developed its electronic template (Caerus2015) to make the data collection process easier, more accurate and more comprehensive, by enabling the data to be collected throughout the year and submitted electronically.
